Your safety is the highest priority and keeping the space safe for all participants is our primary consideration. The following measures are taken to ensure a safe and comfortable space for all participants:

• Every potential participant is screened before being accepted to drink Ayahuasca or Wachuma. If there is any reason that the medicines may not be safe for you to consume, or that we may not be the best fit for your needs, your application will be declined.

​

• We will never serve the medicine if we have any reason to believe it is not in your best interest, or in the interests of the other participants to do so at any time. This includes refusing you second doses, or refusing to serve you medicine at any point during a retreat, even if you have consumed it before.

​

• Group sizes are kept small, to an absolute maximum of 10 people, but most often to a maximum of 5-6, to ensure you get the personal support and space that you need.

​

• There is always a facilitator present to assist you during the ceremony, be that with assistance with bathroom visits etc. or emotional support during your experience.

​

• When other Curanderos or practicioners are serving the medcines, these are always people who I know personally and have attended ceremony, drank medicine and worked in-depth with, and trust to hold a safe and healing space. Strangers or those I have not spent a lot of time in ceremony with, will never be invited to serve medicines.

• The option for female only spaces is available - please advise us of this request at the time of booking so that the right arrangements can be made.

​

• The Ayahuasca brew contains just the Ayahuasca vine and Chakruna leaves and is made especially for us by trusted, personal friends and with no other additives. If we do add another plant to the brew for any reason, you will be advised of this, and the two-plant option will always be available.

• All participants are required to follow the ceremony rules for everyone's safety.

• Please let us know if you have any additional needs or requirements and we will do our best to accommodate. If you have specific needs that cannot be met here, you will be advised that this is unlikely to be the best fit for you.
